SmackDown: (Airing this Friday)
* A Survivor Series video package is shown as SmackDown opens. Vickie Guerrero is in the ring. She welcomes the new WWE Champion, Edge. Edge’s music hits and he comes to the ring. Security is lining the entrance ramp.

Edge gets on the mic and rants about Jeff Hardy. Jeff comes out and attempt to attack Edge but security stops him. Vladimir Kozlov comes to the ring. Vickie Guerrero announces three beat-the-clock matches.

* Jeff Hardy b. The Brian Kendrick in a beat-the-clock match.
- Jeff gets the win with a swanton bomb at 12 minutes 13 seconds.

* Matt Hardy vs. Vladimir Kozlov & Triple H vs. Shelton Benjamin in beat-the-clock matches are announced for later tonight.

* Matt Hardy is backstage saying hes going to do whatever it takes for Jeff to win the gold.

* A Six-Diva tag match is up next.

* Maryse, Natalya, & Victoria b. Michelle McCool, & The Bella Twins
- Brie Bella accidentally clotheslines her sister. Maryse gets the win via pinfall. After the match Maria comes out to ringside and slaps Candice.

* A John Cena video package highlighting his match against Kane on next week’s Raw is shown.

* A Tribute to the Troops video package is shown.

* Matt Hardy vs. Vladimir Kozlov
- Vladimir Kozlov doesn’t beat the clock; therefore Hardy still stands.

* Jesse & Festus b. The Miz & John Morrison
- During the match The Miz & John Morrison steal the bell and ring it. The match gets thrown out. After the match The Miz & John Morrison make fun of Festus using the bell.

* Ken Kennedy interviews Triple H backstage. Hunter says he’ll beat Shelton in 12:13.

* Triple H vs. Shelton Benjamin in a beat-the-clock main event
- Shelton begins the match running around the ring scared. Triple H hits a spinebuster followed by a reverse pedigree. The referee is knocked out. Hunter connects with a pedigree, wakes up the referee, and pins Shelton. Referee Charles Robinson comes out and says he didn’t get the three-count. They show a replay. Justin Roberts comes out and announces a tie. Hunter and Shelton Benjamin stare each other down.

* Edge b. Kung Fu Naki in a squash match.
- Edge got the win with a spear. After the match Vickie grabs a mic and says Triple H will team up with Jeff Hardy tonight in a tag team gauntlet match. She says they will continue to take on opponents until they lose. Edge vs. Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy in a triple threat match is announced for Armageddon.

* Maria b. Michelle McCool
- Michelle goes for a superkick. Maria ducks it and hits her with a roll up for the win.

* The Bella Twins, Primo Colon, & Carlito are backstage with Maria celebrating her win. Michelle McCool goes up to Maria and kicks her.

* The Big Show cuts a promo on his steel cage main event match with The Undertaker tonight.

* MVP is out to the ring next. He cuts a promo talking about his losing streak. He complains about them taking away his “cool” entrance with his music and pyros. He says that’s alright because he’s going to pay someone back. Gregory Helms’ music cuts him off. Justin Roberts announces him as he makes his return to SmackDown.

* Gregory Helms “Hurricane” b. MVP
- Helms gets the win with the shining wizard.

* Triple H & Jeff Hardy in a tag team gauntlet match is up next. Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins are their first opponents. Triple H hits Curt Hawkins with a pedigree. Then Jeff hits him with a swanton bomb followed by a pinfall for the win.

John Morrison & The Miz are their next opponents. The match goes back and forth for approximately ten minutes. During the match Jeff Hardy and Triple H get in each others face and they finally go at it. Security comes out and separates them and takes them to the back. That’s the end of the tag team gauntlet match.

* Edge is backstage telling Vickie how much he loves her. Jeff Hardy interrupts. Triple H comes in and attacks Hardy. They hype the triple threat match at Armageddon. Edge & Vickie make out. Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy is announced for the December 12th edition of SmackDown.

* Matt Hardy vs. Chavo Guerrero
- During the match Vladimir Kozlov comes out and attacks Matt Hardy. He then throws Chavo out of the ring. He continues his assault on Hardy. The match ends in disqualification. Kozlov leaves as the referees help Hardy to the back.

* They roll out a red carpet and set up Christmas decorations. The Great Khali comes out with a long Santa hat on and Ranjin Singh is dressed up like an elf. They do the kiss cam. Eve comes out in a “Santas little helper” outfit and she kisses Khali.

* The Undertaker b. The Big Show in a cage match.
- The Big Show taps to the devils triangle. Solid main event with lots of back and forth action.

*Alex Shelley defeated Cute Kip and Consequences Creed in a Turkey Bowl match.

*TNA X-Division champ Sheik Abdulah Bashir defeated Matt Morgan and Jimmy Rave in a Turkey Bowl match.

*The TNA Originals led by Rhino come to the ring. Rhino says he has taken the liberty to name the group the TNA Frontline. He talks about what it means and talks about ECW. He says that frankly, “ECW is the sh**s now” and that just like he believed in the original ECW, he believes in TNA. He says to prove that he will rid TNA of Kurt Angle at Final Resolution. He tells Samoa Joe and AJ Styles they will take care of the rest at the PPV, but, with no disrespect to the other members of the Frontline, they aren’t experienced enough. He says tonight they need to recruit more members. The Main Event Mafia comes out and Angle tells Rhino to think about what he’s doing. Rhino tells Angle to kiss his a** because now he’s going to get the war he wanted.

*Rhino defeated Hernandez and Sonjay Dutt in a Turkey Bowl match. The Turkey Bowl final is Rhino vs. Bashir vs. Shelley.

*Rhino, Samoa Joe and AJ Styles enter Team 3D’s locker room. They ask 3D to join the Frontline. 3D asks what’s in it for them. Joe tells them nothing but they should do what’s right. Devon and Joe have words and Brother Ray tells Devon that’s exactly the lack of respect that the Mafia is talking about.

*Lauren asks 3D about being asked to join the Frontline. As Ray begins to talk, Scott Steiner arrives and tells them the Mafia has an offer they can’t refuse and they go with him.  

*Kurt Angle is talking to Team 3D in his locker room, reminding them how the Motor City Machineguns used to disrespect them. He gives them two suits and tells them to put them on when they make their decision.

*Christy Hemme defeated Raisha Saied to earn a TNA Knockouts championship match at the Final Resolution PPV. Rhaka Khan and Awesome Kong try to attack Hemme but she escapes.

*Rhino pinned Alex Shelley to win the Turkey Bowl and $25,000. Mick Foley came out to congratulate Rhino and awarded him the check. Foley tells Shelley to put on the turnkey suit and Shelley teases walking out. Foley tells him if he does, he’ll be walking out on a job. He tells Shelley he is good but he doesn’t need him. Shelley is hesitant but finally puts it on. Foley makes some jokes at his expense. Shelley says the only pro out of this is the picture he’ll get to put on his Myspace and gives Foley the finger. Foley hits Shelley with the double arm DDT.

*Rhino, Samoa Joe and AJ Styles come out looking for Team 3D’s decision. 3D come out wearing the suits Kurt Angle gave them. Brother Ray tells the Frontline that both sides are right but Kurt Angle said something that hit a nerve.  Ray says that it’s the future. He says Team 3D wants to be remembered like all the other great teams like The Road Warriors, The Steiners, and even Harlem Heat. He asks if they want to be remembered for what they did in the original ECW or if they want to be part of the greatest collection of champions, complete as the Magnificent Seven.  Ray said that if being part of the Frontline is wrong, then 3D doesn’t want to be right. They attack the Mafia and lay them out. They get a table but Sting saves Kurt Angle before they can nail him with the 3D.

DARK MATCH:
- D’Lo Brown pinned Ricky Ortiz

ECW on Sci-Fi:
- Jack Swagger pinned Tommy Dreamer in an Extreme Rules match. Really good match.

- Backstage, The Miz and John Morrison say this past Survivor Series was the greatest one ever, because they debuted matching outfits. Boogeyman showed up and scared them.

- Backstage, Matt Hardy talks about Jeff Hardy, saying he’s home getting better and is coming after the WWE title.

- Backstage, Hornswoggle is trying to steal candy from a dish but Mark Henry stops him and throws it at him.

- DJ Gabriel defeated an unnamed opponent. Todd Grisham interviewed Alicia Fox and she said that since she was on Smackdown, she took her wedding planning business overseas and met DJ, and they came to ECW together because not only do they have a passion for dancing, but also for winning.

- Mark Henry vs. Finlay ended in a no contest after Hornswoggle and Tony Atlas got involved. They actually filmed the finish twice, with Finlay clobbering Henry with the shillelagh.

The world’s top-ranked heavyweight and his team of managers voiced their interest on Tuesday in having the touted Russian meet the newly crowned UFC heavyweight champion in “a co-promoted event between the UFC, M-1, and Affliction Entertainment,” according to a prepared press release.

SmackDown: (Airing This Week)
* SmackDown begins with a casket in the ring. The Undertaker appears out of it. Jeff Hardy is shown on the screen and he says he will put all his emotion in the match. The Undertaker says he will rest in peace.

* Matt Hardy b. Shelton Benjamin
- Shelton continued to work Matt’s knee throughout the match. Hardy finally gained control, hit twist of fate, followed by a pinfall.

* The Brian Kendrick b. Carlito
- Kendrick got the win via pinfall after hitting sliced break number two. Ezekiel Jackson attacked Primo Colon on the outside to distract Carlito.

* A video promo for Kizarny’s SmackDown debut is shown.

* Vladimir Kozlov & Triple H hold a contract signing for their match at Survivor Series. Kozlov signed, but before Triple could sign, Jeff Hardy came out of the crowd and slammed Kozlov through a table.

* Jeff Hardy b. The Undertaker
- Big Show came out and chokeslammed Undertaker. Hardy leapfrogged over a ladder with a legdrop and pinned Undertaker for the three-count.

- Chavo got the win with a frog splash.

SmackDown: (Airing Next Week 11/21)
* Matt Hardy & R-Truth b. Shelton Benjamin & Mark Henry
- R-Truth got the win by pinning Shelton Benjamin following an axe kick.

* Maria is backstage interviewing Festus. The Miz and John Morrison show up, insult them, and leave.

* The Miz & John Morrison b. Jesse & Festus
- The Miz gets the pin on Festus after Morrison rings the bell.

* Vickie Guerrero announces that WWE Champion Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy will be a non-title bout.

* Jeff Hardy b. WWE Champion Triple H with a roll-up.
- This makes Jeff part of the main event match for the title at Survivor Series. Post match see Vladimir Kozlov come out and take out both.

* Local English Jobber b. MVP
- The local English Jobber got the win after Khali came out and distracted MVP. After the match Khali attacked MVP.

* The Brian Kendrick & Ezekiel Jackson b. Carlito & Primo Colon
- Jackson got the win with the pin on Primo.

*Impact opened with Mick Foley addressing Samoa Joe, The Motor City Machineguns, Petey Williams, Consequences Creed, AJ Styles and Jay Lethal.  He tells them that they all did a good job at the Turning Point PPV.  Alex Shelley isn’t paying attention so Foley gets mad and says he will deal with Shelley next week.  He tells Joe and styles about some of his more famous matches and tells them they need to learn from their mistakes or else the Main Event Mafia will strike them out again.  Foley tells Young he did a good job in the X-Division seeding match and is giving him a title match against Sheik Abdul Bashir tonight.  He tells styles and Joe they will get to challenge Beer Money tonight and announces Sting vs. Lethal for the TNA title.

*Awesome Kong & Rhaka Khan defeated Roxxi & Taylor Wilde.

*Eric Young defeated Sheik Abdul Bashir to win the TNA X-Division championship.  All the Originals come out to celebrate.

*Scott Steiner defeated Rhino after Kurt Angle’s distraction.

*TNA champ Sting defeated Jay Lethal. The finish Motor City Machineguns came down and then Alex Shelley got on the apron. Chris Sabin grabbed Sting and told Lethal to nail him but Lethal didn’t want to cheat so he tossed Sabin out of the ring. Sting grabbed him and nailed the Scorpion Death Drop. AJ Styles and Samoa Joe came down and argued with The Guns until the other TNA Originals came down to break it up.

*Backstage, the Main Event Mafia (except Sting) are shown beating down Petey Williams. Steiner throws him off a ladder and he is shown all bloody. Kevin Nash told him, “If you want a war, you’ve got one.”

*TNA Tag Team champions Beer Money Inc. defeated Samoa Joe & AJ Styles by DQ. Team 3D were doing guest commentary and interfered, attacking Beer Money. They had words with Styles and Joe afterward.

*The Main Event Mafia (no Sting) come to the ring and Kurt Angle calls out Christian Cage. Angle asks Christian where the suit they gave him is. He talks about commitment and says he is questioning Cage’s commitment since he heard that when Cage’s TNA deal is up, he’s jumping to WWE. Angle says this isn’t a welcoming party but a goodbye party. They all attack Cage and lay him out, posing over him.

Xplosion:

*Hiroshi Tanahashi defeated Consequences Creed.

11/20/08

It was announced that Eric Young’s win over Sheik Abdul Bashir has been reversed due to referee Shane Sewell getting involved, but that Young will get to challenge Booker T for the Legends championship later.

A casket is rolled to the ring. The Main Event Mafia come to the ring. Kurt Angle says they are going to give Christian Cage his proper burial tonight. Angle said they had no choice but to beat Cage back to the WWE and asks if anyone has any last words about Cage. Rhino comes out and says that if they had a problem with Christian’s decision, they should have confronted him backstage. He says all he sees in the ring are a bunch of bitches, especially Booker T. Booker says Rhino has the balls of a Chihuahua since he can’t say what he wants to the Mafia’s face. Rhino charges the ring but all five beat him down and bloody him. They put Rhino in the casket and pose.

Consequences Creed & Jay Lethal defeated Sonjay Dutt & Hiroshi Tanahashi.

The Beautiful People defeated Christy Hemme & Sojourn Bolt.

Samoa Joe & AJ Styles defeated The Motor City Machineguns. The Main Event Mafia came out looking to beat down Joe and AJ. Lethal and Creed tried to make the save but were laid out. Sting watched from the outside.

TNA Legends champion Booker T defeated Eric Young.

Kevin Nash & Kurt Angle defeated Abyss & Matt Morgan. Beer Money came out during the match. Storm hit Abyss witha Beer Bottle to assist the win.

Mick Foley comes out and says The Main Event Mafia may be the greatest collection of champions ever put together into one unit. Foley said that his intention is for their to be an even playing field. So, at Final Resolution, he has signed two main events. The first will be Booker & Nash & Steiner & Sting vs. Joe & AJ & two partners of their choice. If The Mafia wins, Sting retains the TNA title but if the Originals win, AJ is the new champion.

Rhino vs. Angle is the other main event. Angle comes out angry and says he doesn’t want Rhino, he wants Jarrett and if he can’t get Jarrett, it’ll have to be Foley. He slaps Foley . Jarrett comes out and says he can’t fire Angle but he can make him an offer Angle can’t refuse. If Angle beats Rhino, he gets Jarrett. If he loses, his contract is void. Angle slaps Jarrett but Rhino comes from behind and gores him. The Mafia hits the ring but Rhino escapes before they can get their hands on him.

UFC 91: Couture vs. Lesnar is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on November 15, 2008 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The main event will feature the return of UFC heavyweight champion Randy Couture versus Brock Lesnar in a title bout.

Winner: I am going to pick Brock Lesnar. Couture hasn’t been inside of a mma cage or ring since August of last year against Gabriel Gonzaga. You could say this situation is similar to when Randy beat Tim Sylvia for the title cause he had come out of retirement to do it. This situation is nowhere near similar. Sylvia is way past his prime, and Randy almost knocked him out in the first ten seconds of the fight when he was caught by speed attack by Couture. This is also evident when Sylvia lost to Fedor Emelianenko in thirty seconds. Brock will win this because not only does he have the size, strength, and speed advantage, his wrestling his on par with Couture. Lesnar has dominated his two UFC opponents in Heath Harring and Frank Mir. Mir got lucky with a knee bar to beat Lesnar because of his inexperience at defending against submissions. What it will come down to is if Brock can counteract Couture’s vast experience edge and pull out the win. I can see Randy winning by submission or decision but not by KO like he wants.
