Day 38: When tough gets tougher, and tech news!
What happens when something you deem tough, gets extremely difficult? Today we were told that our hard class was about to get harder. The prof explained how he tends to go overboard on tests and not very many people pass, but its OK since he curves. Oye! Normally I’m up for any challenge, but I’m really not into it right now. I can’t wait to get this test over with Saturday.
On a lighter note I have formulated another equation. Hot Girls + Fast Cars = Damn!. I’ve always believed in this virtue, but I was reminded of it today when I saw a girl getting out of her ‘vette. I was thoroughly impressed.
In an odd turn of events, Toshiba announced today they have formed a new company exploring nuclear energy opportunities in the United States. Yes, those crazy Japanese TV manufacturers want to fiddle around with nuclear power plants over here. I have all the faith in the Japanese, but seriously leave it to the professionals. I hear the French do REALLY well with nuclear energy. Lets call them over here to set stuff up. More on Toshiba’s midlife crisis, at Yahoo!.
If you haven’t heard yet, Apple released new iPhone information today. First and foremost, 3rd party developers can now build applications for the iPhone. An application store will be available in June where you can download (and sometimes pay) for applications, including games, that will probably make your life so much easier and entertaining. Also, they will allow AIM natively (no more Jailbreak!) on the phone. The biggest announcement is that Apple will allow VOIP over WiFi. Yes, ALLOW. I understand they wouldn’t want to route VOIP over an EDGE connection clogging up the network, but seriously. This would allow cheapskates to buy a minimal package for when they’re out and about, and use the VOIP for everything else. Thats huge. I guess this is why so many people love Apple.
